Excellent Medical Billing Services was founded in 2009 by Lillian M. Ramos. After working for 28 years as a commercial invoice specialist, Lillian went back to school to learn the intricacies of medical billing, and she graduated with a degree in Medical Billing Technology.
Lillian’s rigorous company standards and dedication to customer service have helped EMBS continue to prosper. Over the past 12 years, the team has grown to include experts in billing and accounting across a variety of healthcare disciplines, and the client base has evolved from general practitioners to now include psychologists, dentists, acupuncturists, veterinarians and more.
Today, Excellent MBS is an SBA certified company using specialized proprietary software that will allow the company’s footprint to continue to grow beyond Florida. In the upcoming years, Lillian’s vision is to conquer every market and every state, giving medical practices everywhere the opportunity to experience the “Excellent touch“.

LILLIAN RAMOS – PRESIDENT/FOUNDER
Resilience and sheer determination are two words that come to mind when speaking of Lillian Ramos, Founder & President of Excellent Medical Billing Services. Anyone can look at life’s adversities and choose to make excuses or choose to use them as building blocks to help you achieve the remarkable.
After a long career in the billing & accounting fields, Lillian identified an opportunity to transfer her skills and finally unleash her entrepreneurial spirit after she was downsized from her last employer. She made the shift to the medical billing field in 2009 and hasn’t looked back.
In launching Excellent Medical Billing Services, Lillian remained humble and laser focused on knocking on every door and speaking to every person who would listen to her vision for the company. Her focus, her commitment to delivering the best customer service experience, and her ability to build strong relationships are just a few of the reasons the company continues to grow steadily.
It was these qualities, that in 2012, earned Lillian the recognition of Cambridge Worldwide Who’s Who Professional of the Year in Medical Billing.
